The Goals
- Acquainting new-comers to Qatar with the culture of Qatar.
- Teaching Arabic to facilitate communication within Qatari society and the Arab world in general
- Correcting common misconceptions about Islam and Muslims.
- Introducing non-Muslims to Islam.
- Giving support to the new Muslims in their religious and social affairs.
- Guiding the non-Arabic speaking Muslims in their religious and social affairs.
- Guiding the non-Arabic speaking Muslim communities to the correct beliefs and practices according to the Qur'an and Sunnah.
General Da'wah Activities of the center
- Arabic language courses for Muslims and non-Muslims.
- Elementary religious studies courses for new Muslims.
- Islamic studies courses for non-Arabic speaking Muslim communication
- Public lectures for Muslims and non-Muslims in various languages, at Masjids, housing compounds etc.
- Hosting scholars of non-Arabic speaking communities from outside the state of Qatar.
- Programs for house maids.
- Follow -up for new Muslims, including moral& religious support.
- Distribution of Muslim Burial Shroud packages
Men's Divisions
Currently the Center has four main departments for non-Arabic speaking.
The English department. This department consists currently of one main full-time instructor: Dr. Bilal Philips (Graduate of the Islamic University of Madeenah).
The Tamil & Sinhalese Department. This department consists currently of two main full-time instructors; Sheikh Munaf nahour (Graduate of the Islamic University of Libya); Sheikh Faris Faiz (Graduate of the Islamic University of Madeenah).
The Nepalese Department. This department consists currently of one main full-time instructor: Sheikh basher Ahmed (Graduate of Al-Falah Islamic University of India).
